Program Overview
The Asbestos Management Program (AMP) encompasses the management, maintenance, renovation, demolition, and disposal of known or suspected friable and non-friable asbestos-containing materials (ACM). The work practices and procedures performed pertaining to asbestos by any persons will be in accordance with the referenced laws, regulations, and/or policies. The AMP is managed by the Public Works Department Facility Maintenance Branch. The Environmental Management Department maintains regulatory oversight of the AMP
