Program Overview

The Medical Waste Program oversees the generation, handling, storage, treatment, and disposal of medical waste aboard MCAS Miramar to protect against infectious exposure to disease causing agents and to monitor compliance with the County of San Diego, Department of Environmental Health, Hazardous Materials Division regulations.
